Purchasing Information
Purchasing and checkout
To purchase an image, please select the style and size from the drop down menus and then click “add to cart”. This button will then change to read “added” and you may now go to the shopping cart by clicking the cart icon in the upper right hand corner of any page. A small picture of the purchased image appears on the cart page (see below left) to verify the correct size and style. Clicking on “checkout” takes you to a new page (see below right) where you will provide your payment information. All major credit cards are accepted. A detailed order summary will also appear on the “checkout” page with a picture of each image selected. Please ignore the gray border around any image on the “checkout” page, the artwork you receive will not have any border. (In designing this website I had to use borders for image alignment. I also watermarked my images with ©John Barger for use on this website - this does not appear on any artwork).
Please keep in mind that due to limitations of the internet, especially the necessity to use low resolution images online and variation in monitors, that the colors you see on your monitor may vary from those in the resulting print. It should also go without saying that these fine-art prints will be significantly sharper than they appear on the web.
Print Prices
Prices for common sizes of limited edition prints appear in the tables below. Standard size prints are either 2x3 or 4x5 aspect ratio. Unlimited editions are about 10% less. For the panoramic prints please refer to the drop down price menu for that specific image. Aspect ratios for panoramic prints vary from 1x2 up to over 1x4.
Custom cropping, sizes and bulk discounts are available. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with questions.
Shipping
Standard shipping is free within the continental United States. Please contact me for a quote for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or outside the USA. Most orders take 4 to 6 weeks to be received.
Return Policy
As is typical among photographers selling artwork online, I do not maintain a physical inventory. All images are stored as digital files on my computer and prints are custom-made when orders are received. Because of this, all sales are final and artwork may not be returned except if there is damage during delivery. Any freight damage to prints must be reported immediately upon receipt.
In the unlikely event that you notice visible damage to the packaging, ask the delivery person to remain and check the contents together. Please photograph any damage to the artwork and refuse acceptance. Contact me immediately with pictures of the damage. Once verified, I will replace the damaged artwork as quickly as possible.
