Welcome to the website of John Barger Photography. John is a widely published Oregon photographer dedicated to capturing the natural landscape on large format film -  resulting in images with great detail. John has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada searching for moments when light and seasons combine to produce special imagery. 90% of the images on this site are 4x5 inch format while the remainder are in 6x7cm format. All images are available as high resolution scans or original film.

Over 1200 keyword searchable images from large format film are available for rights managed licensing. A modest selction of wildlife and panoramic images are also featured. John's images have been published in books, magazines, calendars and used in advertising. Large files for all images may be directly downloaded and all images are pre-priced. 58 of John's favorite images have been selected for reproduction as fine art prints. These images are drum scanned to a very high resolution, optimized in Photoshop and meticulously printed by a Chromira onto Fuji Crystal Archive paper.
